Roof repair in Las Cruces

A leak doesn't have to mean a new roof

Gotera fixes roof leaks in Las Cruces and the Mesilla Valley: vent pipes, cooler stands, tile, shingles and flat roofs. Text us a photo and we'll tell you what a fix looks like before anyone climbs up.

  • A written price before work starts
  • Photos of the finished repair
  • English and Spanish

How it goes

From a photo to a patched roof

Four steps, and you hear from a person at each one.

  • Text us a photo

Send the stain on the ceiling, the roof if you can see it, and your street. We answer during business hours.

  • We name a starting price

If the fix is on the menu, you get its starting price right away. If it isn't, we tell you what we need to see.

  • We look and write it down

Juan climbs up, checks the attic if there is one, and writes the price before any work starts.

  • We fix it and show you

We patch the spot, clean up, and text you a photo of the finished repair.

Repair or replace

Repair first. Replace only when the numbers say so

On an older roof we write two prices on one page: the repair, and a new roof. If the repair would cost more than half of a new roof, we tell you to replace it. If it costs less, we fix it and tell you what to watch.

  • The repair price sits next to the replacement price

Roofs we climb

Flat, tile and stucco: the roofs of the Mesilla Valley

Most of our repairs are on roofs that have baked for twenty summers and then met a monsoon.

  • A white flat membrane roof with a rooftop structure and a vent

    Flat and low-slope roofs

Cracked seams, blisters, low spots that hold water, and drains that clog.

    Flat roof repairs
  • A red clay barrel-tile roof with a brick chimney under a blue sky

    Clay and concrete tile

Cracked tiles from foot traffic and hail, slipped tiles, and worn underlayment beneath.

    Tile roof repairs
  • A stucco house with a flat roof and gravel landscaping in the desert

    Stucco parapets and scuppers

Cracked caps, open joints where the wall meets the roof, and scuppers that spill into the wall.

What neighbors say about a small fix

“The stain was right next to the cooler, so I was sure the roof was done. Juan resealed the stand and sent me a photo of it. That was the whole job.”

Tomasa V.Homeowner, Las Cruces

“I have two rentals with flat roofs. They texted back, wrote the price, and the repair photos went straight to my tenants.”

Jasmin M.Landlord, Mesilla

“They told me the tile roof had a few good years left and patched what leaked. Nobody tried to sell me a roof.”
